Liuxia Mixed-Use

留下溪云里

Adjacent to the Xixi Wetland, this project is an urban renewal practice integrating a boutique hotel, sci-tech offices, and multi-dimensional retail. Adopting a philosophy of lightweight intervention, the design utilizes stone and wood textures, allowing the architectural volume to seemingly float amidst the clouds and natural greenery, creating a highly poetic sense of retreat. Addressing the street interface, the proposal breaks the fragmentation of traditional ground-floor retail by vertically overlapping diverse programs to create a multi-layered commercial streetscape. This strategy not only provides robust ground-level support for efficient workspaces and the personalized hotel but also transforms a simple transit street into a "24/7 urban vitality generator." At the intersection of nature and the city, it reshapes a vibrant new urban node blending daily life with a futuristic vision.
