Contemporary Vernacular Hotel

南宁精品酒店

Located in the south of China, this project is a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional Chinese architecture. The design uses the iconic hip-and-gable roof as a visual anchor, breathing new life into classic forms through geometric deconstruction. Materially, we boldly juxtapose red tiles, rich in local memory, with expansive transparent glass, complemented by the sleekness of metal and the warmth of marble. This restrained yet precise interweaving of textures dissolves physical boundaries, creating a hospitality space with immense spatial tension between modern luxury and historical context.
