Shanghai Babel Tower

上海巴别塔

Located in Shanghai, this project is an avant-garde landscape practice rooted in the philosophical core of the "Anti-Babel Tower." The design reflects on the ancient hubris of conquering nature through sheer technology, advocating instead for a contemporary reverence where nature is the ultimate law. By deeply integrating cutting-edge green technologies with modern architectural structures, the proposal dismantles the environmental oppression of traditional towers. Through three-dimensional shading systems and sustainable, circular ecosystems, the design reconstructs a profound dialogue between humanity, technology, and nature. It is not merely an iconic landscape structure, but a sustainable manifesto for living in harmony with the natural world.
