Located near Shanghai South Station and Vanke Center, this project transforms a 1980s unit with a dated early-2000s interior. Driven by the owner's pursuit of simple utility, dayarch reimagined the limited 60sqm footprint into a warm, functional sanctuary for a family of three. The design prioritizes spatial transparency, using translucent fluted glass to invite natural light deep into the living zones. Complemented by high-efficiency spatial storage and an optimized wet/dry separation, the result is a modern habitat that strikes a perfect balance between functional density and a cozy family atmosphere.
